After our Easter egg hunt at home we went to Island Park to the condo and spent time with my family. We colored Easter eggs, and went swimming. The kids all love to swim. The boys had a lot of fun playing with their uncles in the big pool and the girls just played in the small pool with Oakley and Nolan and most of the adults. They also became fans of the hot tubs. It is always so much fun spending time their with family.
We miss all of the family that can not make it up to the condo. We finished our Easter weekend up with a nice family dinner with Nathans family on Sunday. It was a busy but good weekend.

We have a very nice Easter bunny at our house that always comes on Saturday so that we can save Sunday for the celebration of our Savior. The kids had a long but fun day. We started out with our Easter egg hunt at our house. The kids did really well except the boys had a hard time finding their well placed eggs.

The Monday before Easter we went to the neighbors for an Easter egg hunt. The girls had a blast finding Easter eggs with their friends and the boys were good sports and helped them find their eggs. It was a fun night for us all. Of course Ethan had a hard time concentrating all night because it was the NCAA tournament championship game and he was so excited to watch it. Too bad North Carolina won, so he lost to his mom!

Ethan and Preston both had their school spring choir concerts. Preston's was first so we sent him a nice shirt and jeans. Most of the kids were wearing dress clothes. A week later Ethan had his concert so we thought we better dress him nice. We got to the concert and him and two other boys were dressed ties and dress pants. He felt a little out of place. Next year we will take a change of clothes. They were both nice concerts and we enjoyed them.

Kayt is in the time out corner. She does not like to go there and so this is one of the more pleasant trips there. It sure helps her obey.

Nate and I celebrated our birthdays a week apart. It was fun to spend time with the kids and celebrate. Kayt was sick on my birthday which made it a little interesting.
Kayt of course said it was her birthday and she was not about to let Nathan or I have a birthday. That is fine with me as long as she is the one getting older!

Thanks to Gramps and Mawga Nathan and I were able to get away for our 14 year anniversary. Nathan has always wanted to go to NCAA tournament, so we bought tickets and went to Boise for the weekend. It was a fun experience and we watched alot of basketball. It was nice to get away and not worry about the kids and spend time together. I even enjoyed the basketball and would go again. I am grateful for the fourteen years I have had with my husband and look forward to many more.

My baby turned two years old! Kaytlyn turned two years old on March 14th. She is growing up so quickly. She loves Dora so I made her a Dora birthday cake. She was mad that we ate some of her Dora. She had a fun birthday at home and we just relaxed since Ethan was recovering still from his surgery. She definitely has a two year old attitude.

We seem to like the doctor. Ethan had his tonsils out March 11th. He survived the surgery and we were back home in under six hours. He did really well the first couple of days but the second week was a hard one for him. He enjoyed a two week spring break because of his surgery. Hopefully we are done with surgeries for the year!
